Norwood Cricket Club has a long and distinguished History and has been playing cricket in Dundee since the 1930s.

Our home ground is Dawson Park, DD5 1JX, which is accessed from Caenlochan road, off Strathern Road (find us here on the map).

Norwood CC now plays in the Strathmore Union League Division 2.

We play Saturday and Sunday league or friendly fixtures on most weekends from late April to early September.
We also participate in the mid-week Two Counties Cup tournament which we won in 1994.

Norwood are a sociable side, for whom enjoyment is at least as important as acievement.
We have in the past toured Sunderland (1995), the Isle of Bute (1996) and Tour to Milan, 1998

Since the late 1980s some of the side has been had links with Dundee University Staff members with several players recruited from Dundee University Staff Cricket Club.

If you are interested in playing for Norwood (either regularly or occasionally) please feel welcome to Contact us.

If you are feeling rusty, we have pre-season nets at the University sports Hall during the University Easter holiday period.
