One of the famous 4 Ws, cricket was part of his birthright.  Conceived at deep backward square leg at the Oval.  His great grandfather was Sir Worrall Lotta Funn, who captained England’s first overseas tour to Scotland.  First picked up a cricket bat at Hanley’s.  As  a young boy Graham was a precocious talent and his first innings for Castle Huntley was a masterpiece of concentration and nimble footwork.  He returned to the pavillion with 32 runs and two caps.  Always ambitious Graham moved on to Newburgg CC.  Within weeks the club had closed.  As with all all-rounders Graham was unpredictable.  One day he might score a quick three, the next could see him out for 4.  The move to Norwood was his making and last season he was a consistent scorer at the post match discos.  Now that he is club captain the Norwood players are looking for an improvement in the apres match drinks department.  His tactical knowledge is second to None (Gordon Galloway remembers Jimmy None playing in the late forties) and he will surely lead Norwood from the front this season.
